Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before coming aboard
How much do the tours cost?
The ticket price varies depending on the tour and date chosen. You can view the updated prices when booking on our website. Contact us for any information.
What are the tour schedules?
Three time slots: morning (10:00–13:00), afternoon (13:45–16:45), sunset (17:30 until sunset). Times may vary depending on the season.
Which tour is suitable for children?
Tour A and Tour C (South Coast, Punta Pizzo and Sant'Andrea Island) are the most suitable for families, with shallow waters and calm seas. Tour B is less suitable for children under 7 as it involves faster boats and stretches of open sea navigation.
Are there discounts for children?
Children aged 0-2 are free. Children aged 3-10 get a €10 discount on the adult price. From 11 years old they pay the full adult price.
Where do we depart from?
Usually from Scale Nove pier or the commercial port, all near the old town of Gallipoli. The exact boarding point will be communicated after booking and may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Where can I park?
There is a large public pay car park at the commercial port of Gallipoli. In high season we recommend arriving early. Alternatively, parking is available along Corso Roma and its side streets, the latter mostly free of charge. Please note: do not cross the bridge towards the old town, which is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL). The port car park is located before the bridge.
Can I bring my dog on board?
Dogs are not allowed on shared tours. They are welcome on exclusive charters (private boat).
What happens in case of bad weather?
Conditions are assessed daily by our team. In case of cancellation due to bad weather, we offer an alternative date or a full refund. Contact us for more information.
How many people can the boat accommodate?
Our boat can accommodate up to 12 people at a time, ensuring maximum comfort and a private atmosphere.
Are there swimming stops?
Yes, one or more swimming stops are usually planned at the captain's discretion, depending on sea conditions.
Do you take photos or videos during the tour?
During the tour our skippers often take photos to share with guests. If interested, ask us and we will do our best.
Is there a shuttle service for the Boat Party?
In high season only, and subject to a minimum number of participants, we organise a shuttle from Baia Verde and Lido San Giovanni for a total of €5 return. Contact us for more information.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancellation more than 48 hours before departure includes a full 100% refund. Within 48 hours, no refund is available (loss of the ticket or deposit paid).
Can I organise a private event, hen or stag party?
Of course! We organise private events, hen and stag parties, birthdays and more in two formats: an intimate version on a private 12-seat boat with a dedicated skipper, or a party atmosphere on board one of our Boat Parties with music and entertainment. Contact us for a personalised quote.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! You can purchase vouchers and gift cards to give a boat experience as a gift. They are valid for up to 18 months, non-nominative and can be used by anyone for any tour. Simply provide the code when booking.
Can I change the booking date?
Yes, contact us to check the availability of alternative dates.
I booked through GetYourGuide or TripAdvisor, how does it work?
Bookings from external services are automatically added to our system. Simply show up at the boarding point 15-30 minutes before departure.
Is there shade on the boat?
Yes, all our boats have shaded areas. The traditional gozzo boats and the Viba motor vessel offer spacious covered areas, perfect for sheltering from the sun. The RIBs also have a sun canopy, though with a smaller shaded surface.
Do you provide towels?
No, we do not provide towels. Guests should bring their own beach towels.
How can I book?
Tickets can be purchased directly online on our website in the Book Now section. If you need help with the online booking, our operators are available on WhatsApp at +39 351 811 9050.
We are a large group, how can we organise?
No problem! For large groups we can arrange multiple boats at the same time or an outing on the Viba motor vessel, either shared or exclusively for your group. Contact us for a personalised quote.
Can I join even if I can't swim?
Absolutely! We have life jackets, armbands and floating boards on board for everyone. Once on board, let the skipper know your needs and they will make sure you have all the safety equipment you need.
What should I wear?
A swimsuit, towel and water shoes are essential. For the rest, comfortable clothing and common sense.
What equipment does the boat have?
The boat is equipped with a sun canopy, sundeck, shower, radio, and cooler. We also provide snorkelling gear and children's equipment (masks, floaties, life vests).
Can I bring food and drinks on board?
Yes, on the traditional gozzo boats you can bring food and drinks — there is a mini fridge on board. Hard spirits are not allowed. On the Viba motor vessel, bringing your own drinks is not permitted (there is a bar on board), but you may bring some snacks.
Can people with mobility difficulties participate?
The harbour infrastructure has some limitations for boarding and disembarking. Please contact us describing your conditions and we will assess feasibility together and find the best solution for you.
I suffer from seasickness, which tour do you recommend?
We recommend Tour A or Tour C: they use slower, more relaxed boats with less open sea navigation. We also suggest taking seasickness tablets before boarding.
Can pregnant women participate?
We recommend consulting your doctor. Tour B is not recommended as it involves faster boats, more navigation and open sea stretches.
Is smoking allowed on board?
Yes, smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas of the boat. Please do not throw cigarette butts into the sea.
Can I do the Sunset Tour at Punta Pizzo?
At sunset the fleet gathers near Sant'Andrea Island. Punta Pizzo at sunset is only possible with an exclusive charter and the captain's approval.
Are the tours available in English?
We have a limited number of English-speaking skippers, so we cannot guarantee an English-speaking captain on every tour. However, we do our best to group international guests together with an English-speaking skipper. Our skippers also use automatic translation devices to communicate, and our office team speaks English and is always available by phone for any specific questions during the trip.
