South Coast – Punta Pizzo and/or Sant'Andrea Island
A 3-hour excursion to discover the crystal-clear waters of Punta Pizzo, with its shallow seabeds and golden beaches, and Sant'Andrea Island, a wild paradise reachable only by sea. Perfect for families.
The itinerary
The tour departs from Scale Nove pier (Riviera Armando Diaz 117, Gallipoli) and cruises along the southern coastline, passing the most famous beaches of the Ionian coast: Baia Verde, Lido San Giovanni and the stunning Punta della Suina, known as the "Caribbean of the Ionian" for its turquoise waters and pine forest reaching down to the sand. We continue along the coast to the bay of Punta Pizzo, a protected area within the Regional Natural Park, with shallow seabeds, crystal-clear waters and golden beaches — the perfect swimming stop for families. The second stop takes us to Sant'Andrea Island, a wild paradise reachable only by sea and the perfect spot for snorkelling thanks to its rocky seabeds rich in marine life and the crystal-clear Ionian waters. The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, and it is not always possible to reach both destinations. In any case, the skipper will choose the best route to ensure passenger safety and an unforgettable experience.
On some occasions the tour may take place on our VIBA motor boat, with the added benefit of having a bar and toilets on board for even greater comfort.
